Liverpool have seen mixed success from players sent out on loan this season, with Kaide Gordon’s move to Norwich City an unsuccessful venture.

The England youth international joined the Canaries in the summer having finally returned from nearly two years of injury hell at Liverpool, with Gordon’s early performances at Norwich in the Championship promising.

However, a lack of playing time has resulted in the former Derby County wonderkid returning to Liverpool this month, with Gordon’s future once again up in the air after a loan spell with Norwich that only resulted in just 177 minutes of football.

Yet Liverpool have seemingly set out a new plan already for Gordon after his return to Anfield.

Liverpool already considering new loan offers for Gordon

According to the Athletic, Liverpool are already working on sending Gordon out on loan again, with the winger having offers on the table as the Reds currently formulate a new plan on where to send the attacker this month.

With Ben Doak thriving with Middlesbrough this season, Liverpool know they can find success in the loan market if they can just find the right club for the right player, with Gordon a talent who could benefit greatly from joining a team that suits his style and needs.

Indeed, Gordon was lauded as ‘phenomenal’ by Barry Lewtas with the Liverpool coach a big fan of the England youth international and the potential the winger has despite missing nearly two years of action due to injury.

Yet with Liverpool already setting a plan into place, Gordon’s future with the Reds could be saved if the Anfield side find the perfect loan move for the 20-year-old attacker, who needs to show the world just how good he is.

Who else could leave Liverpool on loan this January?

The January transfer market is often the ideal time in the season for a big club like Liverpool to allow a number of youngsters to depart for much-needed first-team minutes having spent the majority of the campaign sat on the bench.

And with how little Arne Slot has rotated the squad this season, some moves could be on the horizon, with Calvin Ramsay already joining Kilmarnock on loan having also returned to Liverpool following a poor spell at Wigan Athletic.

With Stefan Bajcetic close to joining Real Betis on loan as well, Liverpool could see a number of prospects depart for the remainder of the season if the right offers come up, with Federico Chiesa also linked with a move to Napoli.
