Liverpool are set for a slew of squad changes in 2025 with key players likely to leave and big signings potentially on the cards.

Although Mohamed Salah is closing in on a new deal with Liverpool, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s rumoured move to Real Madrid continues to rumble on, with the England international seemingly set to swap the Premier League for La Liga next year.

With Jamie Carragher also tipping Darwin Nunez to leave Liverpool next summer, a new attacker could be needed for the Reds if Arne Slot is to maintain his current level of quality in the forward ranks for next season.

And one rumoured Liverpool target could end up breaking the bank for the Anfield side.

Juventus want £66m to sell Liverpool target Kenan Yildiz

According to CaughtOffside, Juventus are demanding as much as €80m (£66m) for Turkish talent Kenan Yildiz, who Liverpool are rumoured to be interested in alongside Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.

Yildiz was lauded by former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri as ‘extraordinary’ last season with the 19-year-old attacker this year taking the no. 10 shirt and establishing himself as a regular under Thiago Motta.

Capable of playing as a no. 10 or a centre-forward, Yildiz has seen the majority of his minutes this season come from the left-wing, where the Turkish international, has managed four goals and three assists in all competitions.

Indeed, Yildiz’s output has been somewhat underwhelming given that the teenager has made 20 appearances for Juventus, but with the Old Lady struggling in general to find the back of the net this campaign, Liverpool fans should not be worried by this stat for the Serie A wonderkid.

Yildiz could be a fantastic long-term signing for Liverpool

Yildiz has been linked with a move to Liverpool for quite some time, with the Turkish wonderkid developing into a fantastic senior player with Juventus and a forward with a huge future at the highest level in Europe.

And even with Juventus demanding £66m for Yildiz, the long-term investment could be worth it for Liverpool, who might be tempted to open their wallet next summer to bring in a new attacker.

For Yildiz, the teenager could be ready for a move to the Premier League if he can hit new heights in the second-half of the season with Juventus, and Liverpool will be in for quite a battle to bring the youngster to Merseyside.
