Jones says Slot’s style at Liverpool ‘suits’ him more
Speaking to the press ahead of this week’s international ties, Jones shared how he feels more suited to Slot’s style at Liverpool, with the midfielder really excelling in the Dutch coach’s system this season.
Although Jones hasn’t nailed down a consistent starting XI spot under Slot, the Liverpool youngster is certainly impressing whenever given a chance to play, and the midfielder is enjoying life under his manager.
Jones said when asked about his form this season: “I feel that I’m at the point now where I’m enjoying it the most that I have. I say that in terms of style of play that suits me and the love that I’m getting from the coaches and the staff all around.
“Arne and his staff have come in and the style of play and everything is changing – the way we go and press and stuff. I think it suits me more. As a fresh start I’ll give it everything I can. I’m really enjoying it and the most important thing is that I’m playing with a smile on my face.”

Jones is starting to realise his true potential at Liverpool this season
With Slot lauding Jones as ‘outstanding’ for Liverpool this season, the England international is finally starting to realise his true potential with the Reds having broken into the senior team under Jurgen Klopp.
