Liverpool head into the November international break top of the Premier League after another perfect weekend.
The Reds were 2-0 victors against Aston Villa with Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah on the scoresheet for Liverpool, with Manchester City also losing after dropping a 1-0 lead to fall 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Although Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up an injury for Liverpool, this Premier League weekend has again been a dream scenario for the Reds, who saw all their major title rivals drop points as Arne Slot’s side managed a win.
Yet one Liverpool player is now pushing to leave the club heading into January.

Wataru Endo looking to leave Liverpool this January
According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo is keen to leave Liverpool in the upcoming January transfer window, with the Japanese international hardly playing for the Reds this season under Slot.
Signed for £16m last season, Endo has found it hard to become a guaranteed starter for Liverpool since his surprise move to Anfield last year, with Slot this year reinventing Ryan Gravenberch into the no. 6 of dreams on Merseyside.
With Ipswich, Fulham and Wolves all linked with Endo heading into January, there’s a real chance that the former VfB Stuttgart captain could be on the move in 2025, with interest certainly there in the 31-year-old midfielder.
And with Liverpool linked with midfielders like Ayyoub Bouaddi, Endo leaving could open the door for the Reds to bring in a new signing that could be better suited to Slot’s vision, with the Japanese maestro simply not fancied by the Dutch coach.

Endo knows he has to leave Liverpool in 2025
Endo was an unusual yet surprising signing when the Reds brought the Bundesliga midfielder in last summer as a short-term replacement for Fabinho, who had joined many others in moving to Saudi Arabia.

Yet as per Endo’s stats since joining Liverpool, the midfielder can’t really be considered a regular starter for the Reds, with the majority of the 31-year-old’s starts coming in cup competitions and last year’s UEFA Europa League run.
Indeed, Endo is too good to be sat on the bench for Liverpool next year, and the former Bundesliga captain needs to take it upon himself to make another career change with clubs now interested in signing him.
