Liverpool have started the new season in sensational form under Arne Slot, with the Reds winning nine of their first ten games.
The Merseyside giants sit top of the Premier League with the Dutch coach getting a tune out of the likes of Luis Diaz and Ryan Gravenberch, with Liverpool looking like a natural evolution from the syle they played under Jurgen Klopp.
With Slot only making one signing for this season in Federico Chiesa, the squad hasn’t changed too much from the one the former Feyenoord manager inherited this summer, though the Liverpool coach clearly has a preferred starting XI.
And one player who has hardly featured for Liverpool this season could be on the move in 2025.

Liverpool open to Wataru Endo sale with Premier League trio interested
According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool are willing to let Wataru Endo leave with the Japanese international hardly featuring under Slot this season, with Ipswich Town, Fulham and Wolves all interested in the midfielder, who could leave for as little as €15m (£13m).
Lauded by Peter Crouch as ‘unbelievable’ last season, Endo was a surprise signing in 2024 from VfB Stuttgart with the 31-year-old joining for £16m as Liverpool looked to replace star defensive midfielder Fabinho.
However, Endo has failed to really light up Anfield since moving last year, with the Japanese international now likely to move on from Liverpool with interest starting to build as we slowly inch towards the January transfer window.
And with Liverpool open to selling Endo with three clubs interested in the former Bundesliga man, there’s a good chance that a deal could be reached with a Premier League side for the midfielder, who could be keen on a new adventure.

Endo knows leaving Liverpool would be good for his career
Endo was always a left-field signing for the Reds, with the 31-year-old arriving in the Premier League with little to no reputation from Liverpool supporters whilst also being tasked with replacing a figure as pivotal as Fabinho.
And with Slot using Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch as a duel no. 6s to great effect this season, it makes sense why there is no room for Endo to make any sort of noise under the new Liverpool manager.
As a result, Endo leaving Anfield for a new chapter in his interesting career would be for the best for all parties, especially if a Premier League move is possible for the 31-year-old heading into the January window.
