Liverpool’s win over Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday sent a little bit of a message to the rest of European football.
The Reds have made an unbelievable start to life back in the Champions League this season, winning four out four so far.
That has seen Liverpool shoot to the top of the new-look table, with the Reds looking down on the other 35 teams with a two-point lead.
But while the win over Leverkusen was notable for plenty of reasons, it also happened to catch the eye of former Manchester United superstar David Beckham.
Beckham is no Liverpool fan, it must be said, but the 49-year-old is in fact a big supporter of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
And after Beckham raved about Alexander-Arnold last month, the Inter Miami owner has been spotted sending his support the Liverpool academy graduate once again.

Trent Alexander-Arnold sports new David Beckham boots
Alexander-Arnold has often been compared to Beckham for his bally striking abilities.
In our opinion, the Liverpool right-back is actually even better than Beckham ever was, but it’s still a real compliment of a comparison nonetheless.
Given the similarities in their style, then, it was perhaps no surprise to see Trent sporting the newly-released Adidas Predatorelite boots co-designed by Beckham.
Alexander-Arnold gave the white and blue pair a run out against Leverkusen at Anfield and posted a snap on Instagram of him together with Xabi Alonso on Wednesday.

The post, which was without a caption, may cause worry for Liverpool supporters given that Alonso could be Real Madrid manager next season.
Perhaps oblivious to that context, though, former Madrid man Beckham only had eyes for the boots.
“Nice win Nice boots mate,” he wrote.
What has David Beckham previously said about Trent?
These boots are indeed a nice looking pair. For those old enough to remember, they are very much a throwback to a former edition Beckham released 20 or so years ago.
Trent was far too young to wear those, of course, but has obviously jumped at the chance to do so now. And it’s no wonder Beckham is proud.
“I suppose if there was one player where I look at and I think, he’s very similar in the way he delivers the ball, he’s very similar in the way he crosses the ball or passes, it has to be Trent,” the former England captain told Rio Ferdinand in October.
The boots did not necessarily help Alexander-Arnold on Tuesday, with the 25-year-old having a bit of an off night with his passing.
But as he finds his range over the coming weeks, we expect to see Trent channelling his inner-Beckham to deliver some sumptuous crosses, corners and free-kicks.
