Arne Slot was appointed Liverpool manager this summer, and it’s safe to say that the Dutch coach has surprised the majority of fans and pundits.
Liverpool sit top of the Premier League after ten games having lost just once in all competitions, with the Reds also in a great position to claim a top-eight finish in the UEFA Champions League.

Although the future of Mohamed Salah is up in the air at Liverpool, the Anfield side have not let issues away from the pitch stop them from performing, with Slot looking likely to win silverware in his first season with the Premier League giants.
And UFC fighter Paddy ‘the Baddy’ Pimblett has now made a bold claim on how Slot will do at Liverpool compared to Jurgen Klopp.

Slot tipped to win even more trophies at Liverpool than Klopp
Speaking on TalkSport, Pimblett made the claim that he predicts Slot to win even more at Liverpool than Klopp did, with the 29-year-old fighter comparing Slot to legendary manager Bob Paisley.
Although Slot is just three months into the job at Liverpool, there’s a real sense in the air that the former Feyenoord manager could win something in his first full year on Anfield, with the Premier League, League Cup and Champions League still all on the table.
And for Paddy the Baddy, Slot could go down as a more successful manager for Liverpool than Klopp, something few supporters would have predicted when the Dutch coach was appointed in the summer.
Pimblett said: “I did expect this. Before Slot came, I said Jurgen was our generation’s [Bill] Shankly and Arne Slot was going to be our generation’s [Bob] Paisley. He’s going to win more than Jurgen did and I can’t wait to be proved right.”

Slot could become one of Liverpool’s greatest-ever managers
From Klopp to Paisley to Bill Shankly, some of the best managers to ever grace the English game have found success at Liverpool, with the Reds the biggest club in the country due to their managerial track record.
And Slot could well join this pantheon of legendary names at Liverpool based on what we have seen in the first few months of the Dutch manager’s tenure with the Reds, with silverware likely this season.
Although it will take something legendary for Slot to truly be compared to a Klopp or a Shankly, the former Feyenoord manager is on the right track, especially if trophies can be won this season.
