Liverpool fought from behind to secure a valuable draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in north London.
Arne Slot earnt is first draw as Liverpool manager as Mohamed Salah capped off a fantastic move from the Reds ten minutes from time to claim a 2-2 draw against Mikel Arteta’s side, who were arguably the better team on the night.
With Gary Neville impressed with Darwin Nunez’s performance in north London, Liverpool know they weren’t at the races today as Arsenal failed to make their advantage count with a number of wasted chances in front of goal.
And Alan Shearer was impressed with another Liverpool player on the night against Arsenal.

Shearer blown away by Mohamed Salah’s movement vs Arsenal
Speaking to Premier League Productions, the pundit noted how impressed he was with Salah’s movement against Arsenal, with the Liverpool winger finding space to score the equalising goal for the Reds.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold recently naming Salah as one of the best Liverpool players he’s ever played with, the forward more than showed against Arsenal why he is still rightfully considered one of the best attackers in world football.

And Shearer was more than delighted with what he saw from Salah, with the former Newcastle United star saying: “Mohammed Salah didn’t touch the ball a lot, he wasn’t as involved as he would like or want to be.
“But whilst he’s on the pitch, you’re always going to have that opportunity. Why would you take your best goalscorer off? His movement is just incredible. It was a great ball, and it was crying out to be put into the back of the net.”

How good was Salah’s performance against Arsenal?
As mentioned by Shearer, Salah wasn’t on the ball as much as the forward usually is, with Liverpool finding it difficult to break down Arsenal’s defence even with two players going off injured.
| Mohamed Salah vs Arsenal | Stats |
| Goals scored | 1 |
| Accurate passes | 25/30 (83%) |
| Expected goals (xG) | 0.38 |
| Shot accuracy | 2/3 (67%) |
Yet as per the forward’s numbers, Salah did enough to leave a real impact on the game, with the Egyptian international proving to be a threat for Liverpool whenever given time and space on the ball.
Salah’s performance was hardly a vintage one for the Reds, but with the forward scoring the crucial goal to see Liverpool win a point, few fans will be complaining about the 32-year-old attacker’s impact.
