England have announced their new full-time manager with former Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel taking the reigns.
The former Chelsea boss becomes the third non-English manager to take on the position after Sven Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello, with Tuchel set to officially begin work with the Three Lions in the New Year.
Having worked with a number of players in the current England set-up as well as managed in the Premier League, Tuchel’s past experience and success makes the 51-year-old coach an ideal pick to succeed Gareth Southgate.
And Richard Keys has now predicted Tuchel to get the best out of Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Alexander-Arnold tipped to thrive at right-back to assist Harry Kane
Taking to Twitter, the pundit noted that Alexander-Arnold will be played in his best position under Tuchel, which could lead to plenty of assists for Harry Kane with the Liverpool man back in the right-back role.
Keys posted: “My choice was Klopp. Tuchel was the next best available. I knew the racists would have trouble accepting it. It’s great news. No more tippy tappy football. TAA in his correct position. Crosses for H [Harry Kane]. What’s not to like? We don’t trust our big clubs to English coaches.”

The English media recently praised Alexander-Arnold after the Liverpool star’s performance for the Three Lions away to Finland, where the defender scored a sensational free-kick in a 3-1 win in Helsinki.
And with a top manager like Tuchel now at the helm for England, there’s a real chance that the German coach could take Alexander-Arnold’s game on the international stage to a whole new level heading into the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Alexander-Arnold could become England’s creative heartbeat under Tuchel
Lee Carsley’s tenure as England manager might only last six games in total, yet one thing the interim coach proved was that Alexander-Arnold is key to the Three Lions succeeding when the big games come around.
And with Tuchel coming in, there’s a real chance that Alexander-Arnold could become one of England’s key players in the next 18 months, with the defender back to his best for both club and country.
Alexander-Arnold has found his rhythm with England after some unusual years under Southgate, yet with Tuchel at the helm, the defender could be ready for his best spell yet in the national team if the former Bayern manager can build a system around the Liverpool man.
