Trent Alexander-Arnold was once again a starring player for England this international break, with the Liverpool defender on the scoresheet against Finland.
The 25-year-old fullback scored a free-kick to secure all three points for the Three Lions having lost last week to Greece at Wembley Stadium, with Alexander-Arnold playing at left-back for Lee Carsley’s side in Helsinki last night.
Yet after a more than average performance against Greece, Alexander-Arnold was back to his best on Sunday in Scandinavia against Finland, even with the Liverpool star playing in a position he is unfamiliar with.
And former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has now issued a challenge for Alexander-Arnold.

Alexander-Arnold told to score a free-kick for Liverpool vs Chelsea
Taking to Instagram, the Ajax midfielder requested Alexander-Arnold to repeat his set-piece heroics for Liverpool on the weekend against Chelsea, with Henderson writing: “Not bad… this weekend again please.”
With Liverpool top of the Premier League and Chelsea set to be their hardest test so far this season in the league, it makes sense why the former Anfield captain wants to see Alexander-Arnold back on the scoresheet this weekend.

Indeed, Alexander-Arnold has been one of Liverpool’s best players this season under Arne Slot, with the fullback back to being arguably the best right-back in the world based on his performances for club and country.
And with Henderson egging Alexander-Arnold on to score yet again, the Liverpool defender could be determined to do just that this weekend against Chelsea, where another win could be huge for the Reds in their push for the Premier League title.

Alexander-Arnold will be pleased with his England performance against Finland
Playing in an unorthodox position off the back of a poor performance in front of a home crowd, Alexander-Arnold will have every right to be pleased with how he got on in Helsinki against Finland on Sunday.
The Liverpool defender was excellent down the left as Alexander-Arnold formed a good connection with Jack Grealish down the wing, with the fullback’s free-kick goal a fine reward for his impressive performance for England.
And heading back to Liverpool this week, Alexander-Arnold will be happy to end the international break on a high, with the defender looking good ahead of Sunday’s big Premier League tie against Chelsea.
