There have been so many success stories during the early part of Liverpool’s season so far.
The Reds have won three games out of three and are still yet to even concede a goal in the Premier League.
The wins have given Liverpool a real platform to build on and has even given genuine hope that a title challenge could be on the cards this year.
Part of the reason for that is because of the individual improvement within the Liverpool squad. Across the board, players have looked refreshed and improved from the end of last term.
One of the biggest examples of this has been Luis Diaz, who has scored three goals and laid on an assist during the games so far.

Arne Slot working with Luis Diaz
There had been some expectation over the summer that Diaz wouldn’t even be at Liverpool by the time Sunday’s game against Manchester United rolled around.
After a slightly underwhelming campaign, the Colombian was seemingly being seen as surplus to requirements by some at Anfield.
There were even claims that Liverpool staff were openly talking about selling Diaz if a bid from the likes of Barcelona arrived.
Thankfully, none did. And after staying with the Reds, Lucho has gone about showing everyone exactly why he can be such a big part of this Liverpool team.

Sunday was one of his best days in a Liverpool shirt. Scoring twice at Old Trafford is not a feat many Reds have achieved down the years and one which deserves to be celebrated.
According to The Daily Mail, though, there is likely to be little surprise from Arne Slot over the improvement seen in Diaz this season.
They claim that the 27-year-old was one of the players ‘earmarked’ by Slot as being someone who he could get more out of this season.
Since then, the head coach has reportedly been working one-on-one with Diaz at the AXA Training Centre. Slot is said to have been working with Lucho specifically on his off-the-ball positioning, when to make runs and the timing off his passing and shooting.
Will Liverpool sell Luis Diaz?
Had he been sold this summer, the likelihood is that Liverpool would have replaced Diaz with Anthony Gordon, or another forward of that ilk.
Despite his brilliant start to the campaign, there remains a feeling that that is something the Reds may still be planning on doing at some point soon.
If Diaz can continue his good form, though, then there will be little need to change things.
As a result, we’d argue that Diaz is very much playing for his Liverpool future right now. Do well and the former Porto man could earn himself a new contract, all but ending talk of his sale.
But if he begins to tail off then the old questions may start to arise again. Right now, however, there are few Liverpool players in better form than Lucho. Something Slot is doing is clearly working. Long may it continue.
