After all the transfer business comes to an end, Liverpool have the small matter of another Premier League fixture on Sunday.
It is certainly a big week for the Reds, who still have hope of making one or two things happen in the market.
Federico Chiesa has signed from Juventus and the Italian is a welcome addition to a Liverpool squad that had started to look a little stale.
Supporters will still be hoping that Arne Slot and Richard Hughes have something else up their sleeve in terms of a centre-back or central midfielder, but time is running out on that front.
In the meantime, preparations are underway at the AXA Training Centre for Liverpool’s massive game with Manchester United on Sunday.

Danny Murphy predicts Man United vs Liverpool
Liverpool have of course already faced Man United since Jurgen Klopp stepped down as manager.
The Reds beat their arch-enemy in Columbia during their tour of the USA this summer. That should hopefully give them confidence as they head to Old Trafford.
Liverpool should also be buoyed by the fact that they have started the Premier League season very well indeed.
Two wins from two have given promise of what may lie ahead, but United away is easily a bigger test of Slot’s mettle than games against Ipswich and Brentford.

Erik ten Hag’s team are coming off the back of a loss away at Brighton and will be desperate to put things right on Sunday.
Looking ahead to the game for TalkSPORT, though, former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy says he fancies his old team to come away with the spoils.
“I make Liverpool favourites with the firepower they’ve got compared to United” says Murphy. “But it doesn’t mean it’s a given.
“United have beaten Liverpool recently. It’ll be a good game, but I fancy Liverpool. I think they’ve got better firepower.”
Liverpool team news ahead of Man United clash
As we come up to the transfer deadline, things have understandably been kept watertight around the AXA Centre over the past few days.
As a result, it’s slightly difficult to ascertain exactly what kind of shape the squad is in as Sunday approaches.
Curtis Jones was the only injury issue last time out against Brentford, however, so he’s the one to keep an eye on for now.
Otherwise, all eyes will be on whether Liverpool will include Chiesa for their trip. The Italian must be registered by 12 noon on Friday to be able to play.
Chiesa has declared his immediate availability, but given the head coach’s other attacking options, though, we think he’ll more likely be involved next week against Nottingham Forest.
