Liverpool’s summer transfer window is about to get a whole lot more interesting, with the arrival of Federico Chiesa from Juventus.
The Reds have been extremely hesitant to do business in the market, holding off until the very end before getting anything at all done.
But having announced the signing of Giorgi Mamardashvili on Tuesday, Liverpool look set to follow that up with the arrival of Chiesa on Wednesday.
It has been claimed that Chiesa has been eyeing a move to Anfield for the past two years and the Italian now looks set to get his wish.
With a move now on the verge of being completed, Chiesa has been spotted jetting off from Turin to Liverpool.

Federico Chiesa sends message to fans
Chiesa is not exactly the kind of profile Liverpool supporters have been crying out for their club to sign this summer.
Nevertheless, the 26-year-old is a hugely exciting player who has all the tools to be a success at Anfield.
As a result, his transfer has been warmly welcomed so far as the Reds aim to boost their squad under Arne Slot.
And judging by a video posted by Italian journalist Giovanni Albanese, Chiesa looks absolutely delighted to be heading to Liverpool.

Sharing a clip of Chiesa exiting a car, Albanese shares the messaged the Italy international had ahead of his journey to Liverpool.
“Federico Chiesa is leaving Turin to reach Liverpool with a private flight,” reports the journalist.
“I am very happy and ready for this new adventure, I would like to send a greeting to the fans of Juventus,” Chiesa is claimed to have said.
When will Federico Chiesa be announced?
It’s clear that with the deadline approaching, these things now have to move at lightning speed.
However, Liverpool still have a day or two to get Chiesa all settled in before giving him the Hollywood treatment.
As a result, we’d perhaps expect that once a medical is all completed, the Reds will likely officially announced the signing of Chiesa on Thursday or Friday.
We could be wrong of course, and Liverpool could speed things up and get something done for later today.
Having waited all summer to welcome a new signing, they’ve certainly had enough time to prepare! Exciting times ahead, let’s wait and see.
