Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark has got supporters talking after revealing he is close to a return to action.
Clark is close to a Liverpool exit, with former Anfield assistant manager Pep Lijnders trying to sign the youngster for RB Salzburg.
The midfielder has been unable to impress Arne Slot at Liverpool due to a back injury suffered at the end of last season.
Slot will anger Liverpool fans if Clark leaves, with the 19-year-old shining last season under Jurgen Klopp.
Clark has made 14 appearances for the Merseyside club, with the teenager netting his only goal against Sparta Prague in last season’s Europa League.

Liverpool fans react as Bobby Clark nears return to action
He has now taken to social media to provide an update on his return, with Clark posting footage of himself playing on X, with an egg timer emoji and the caption: “Missing it.”
Liverpool fans have been reacting with the simple message of wanting him to stay, with one X user saying: “Hoping you stay mate, massive future ahead.”
A second said: “Don’t leave Bobby,” with a third commenting: “Bobby don’t leave fella, you’ve got a bright future.”
A fourth noted: “Of all the breakthrough players last year, you’ve got the highest ceiling. Already press resistant on the ball, move forward, break the line. Good luck, hope you stay.”
A fifth commented: “Quality player lad, hope you stay,” with another saying: “Stick around Bobby there’s a place in the team for you.”
Another Liverpool fan pleaded: “Stay. Or enjoy a good loan and come back stronger. Don’t leave, you’re a big talent with a great attitude.”
What will Arne Slot do with Bobby Clark?
Clark undoubtedly has a bright future ahead, having already impressed the Anfield faithful, but whether he stays at Liverpool remains to be seen.
Fortunately for the youngster, Slot is not exactly blessed in midfield, particularly now that Martin Zubimendi will not be joining.

At the same time, however, despite his youth, Clark may have plans to play regular football, which is not likely to arrive on Merseyside.
He is behind a number of more senior midfielders, with his fellow youngsters Curtis Jones and Stefan Bajcetic also vying for starting roles in that area.
But letting him leave permanently this summer would perhaps be a foolish decision, with a loan move a much more suitable option.
