Liverpool manager Arne Slot is taking his time when it come to potentially signing new players in the summer transfer window.
It is the first chance Slot has to bring new players to Liverpool, having taken over from Jurgen Klopp earlier this summer.
Liverpool owners FSG have limited transfer options, with club chiefs not wanting to disrupt the close-knit squad assembled by Klopp.
But time is running out for the new recruitment team in place if they want to add at least one new face to the setup.
Many Reds fans are undoubtedly becoming increasingly worried about the lack of signings, particularly with Champions League football returning to Anfield.

Liverpool target Federico Chiesa has new price tag
But the signature of one star player could ease their worries, with Liverpool wanting to sign Federico Chiesa.
CaughtOffside has reported that a change in squad status for the Juventus attacker means he is now available for as little as €12million (£10.3million) this summer.

The publication added that his salary requirements are also set to tumble, with his negotiating power decreasing after Chiesa was excluded by Juventus.
Manager Thiago Motta decided not to call up the winger for the Italian club’s latest pre-season friendly against Brest.
Should Liverpool take a risk on Federico Chiesa?
Italian media once labelled Chiesa a ‘superstar’, with the winger having been shining brightly for club and country not so long ago.
But injuries have massively interrupted his time on the pitch in recent seasons, with Juventus manager Motta having seemingly run out of patience.

It would, therefore, be a risk to bring him to Anfield given his injury record, but it could be a risk worth taking.
That risk is now worth it considerably more after Chiesa’s price tag fell dramatically, with not many star wingers available for such a low price.
Slot has, however, done a fine job in keeping his squad fit so far this summer, with the new Liverpool manager clearly keen on high fitness levels given his pre-season training routines.
