Liverpool are heading home after a successful tour to the USA which saw them record three wins from three games.
The Reds had tough looking fixtures against Real Betis, Arsenal and Manchester United, but won them all with a combined scoreline of 6-1.
It’s now time for Liverpool to get back to England and start the serious business of preparing for their Premier League opener against Ipswich Town.
As well as getting ready for that big game, Arne Slot is going to have start making some decisions about his Liverpool squad.
August was always likely to be busy for the Reds and with the squad in the air on the way back from America, the ball has already started to roll.

Liverpool turn down Fabio Carvalho bid
Liverpool look set to accelerate their plans in the transfer market upon their return to England.
But it isn’t only incoming deals which are going to need sorting. The Reds also look likely to have a lot of things to sort out going the other way, too.
It has already been reported that Nat Phillips is expected to leave once Liverpool touch down back in the UK. But Phillips is far from the only one courting attention.
Pep Lijnders is pushing to sign Bobby Clark for RB Salzburg, while a report from The Athletic on Sunday morning claims that the Reds have turned down an offer for Fabio Carvalho.
Carvalho has been one of the success stories of this summer. The 21-year-old has started all three games out in the US, scoring against both Arsenal and Man United.

And according to The Athletic, Slot has been ‘hugely impressed’ by what he’s seen from Carvalho. The Dutchman reportedly now plans on using the forward during the season, unless a suitable offer arrives.
For Liverpool, it’s said that that would have to be more than the £15m offer just now presented by Southampton. Saints are claimed to have been keen on Carvalho back in January and have now followed that up with a formal proposal.
However, the Reds are said to value the former Fulham man at ‘considerably higher’ than £15m and would need their valuation met before even thinking about a sale.
Liverpool are reportedly not interested in sending Carvalho out for another loan and the player himself is also said to ‘prefer’ to stay. Despite that, the Portugal U21 is claimed to want to be a ‘key player’ rather than a bit-part squad member.
Should Liverpool sell Fabio Carvalho?
It comes as no shock that Liverpool are having to fend off interest in Carvalho. Although he’s had some struggles at Anfield, he is still a top prospect.
Had this bid come in before the Reds flew out to the US, it would have been interesting to see if the response would have been different.
Before Carvalho had the chance to impress Slot both in games and in training, it seems more likely that £15m would have been accepted.
In our view, for that kind of price, it simply isn’t worth to sell the No.28. He has shown plenty this summer to suggest that he can still be a success at Liverpool and it doesn’t make sense to let him go for a low fee.
After what he’s shown in the off-season, we’d rather keep Carvalho around and perhaps assess the situation again in January.
