Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic will be desperate to get back to his very best as soon as possible under Arne Slot.
The 19-year-old broke into the first team back in 2022/23, but his season was brought to an abrupt end due to injury.
That issue limited Bajcetic to just three appearances in all competitions in 2023/24, but fortunately he is now back to full fitness.
The midfielder has fully taken part in pre-season under new Liverpool manager Slot this summer, with the Reds currently on tour in the USA.
Liverpool’s senior players have gradually been returning to club action following their summer break, with the new season rapidly approaching.

And Bajcetic has already tasted match action, with the teenager appearing from the bench in the meeting with Real Betis.
The Reds won the pre-season clash 1-0, although Slot did admit that Bajcetic got caught in possession a few times against Betis.

Giving his verdict on the intense period, Bajcetic told the official Liverpool website: “Yeah but we were ready for that; with a new manager it was always going to be a different system and different things, so we were ready for it.
“Physically, it has been quite hard, to be honest, multiple sessions. But that will only make us better at the end, so it’s good.”

Aged just 19, Bajcetic already boasts 22 senior Liverpool appearances, having been given his big break by Jurgen Klopp.
The youngster progressed through the youth ranks at Anfield after joining from Celta Vigo, and would undoubtedly have many more matches under his belt had it not been for injury.

But he will be eager to put the bad memories behind him and hit the ground running under Slot, with Bajcetic likely to play a key role this season.
He is clearly talented, and was often entrusted by Klopp to play in a significant position in many big matches.
The midfielder must now continue his hard work in pre-season, with Klopp having tipped Bajcetic to be one of six youngsters who can shine under Slot.
