Jurgen Klopp has certainly been enjoying his summer after leaving Liverpool in May.
The former Reds manager bid an emotional farewell to his legions of adoring fans as the curtain came down on the 2023/24 season.
Since then, Klopp has been living his best life. Unburdened by the restraints of top-level football management, the 57-year-old has been letting his hair down.
For Liverpool fans, it has perhaps still not hit home that Klopp will not be the man on the touchline at Anfield next season. It will take some time to get used to Arne Slot standing in his place.
In the meantime though, Jurgen is – predictably – being sought after. With England perhaps soon to be on the lookout for a new head coach, the Liverpool legend’s name has been in the mix.

Jamie Carragher gives Jurgen Klopp England verdict
No Liverpool fan will really need to be reminded of the reasons behind Klopp’s untimely exit from the club.
After 23 years of almost relentless management with Mainz, Borussia Dortmund and then Liverpool, the German had run out of energy.
As a result, there have been suggestions that Klopp will never manage again. The boss is keen to take a break and then see how he feels about things. What’s for sure is that he won’t be short of offers.
Klopp has turned down the chance to manage the USA already and with Gareth Southgate potentially heading for the England exit door, there have been suggestions that another international job could be offered to Klopp.
Speaking to Sky Sports though, Reds legend Jamie Carragher has claimed that if there is to be a new England manager, he should be English.
“What manager out there is looking at England and thinking how can I better what Gareth Southgate has done?” posed Carragher. “You have got to win the World Cup. We aren’t a team who wins trophies, we aren’t Brazil or Germany, who have a history of winning trophies for years and years. Yes, we want to change that.

“But I can’t see too many managers licking their lips thinking I’m going to take this on from Gareth Southgate. There’s not much room to improve.
“I have seen Jurgen Klopp mentioned because he’s out of a job and we love him but number one, England shouldn’t be having a foreign manager. We have been down that road and the two managers we have had did absolutely nothing for England in those tournaments.
“And we keep being obsessed by these great managers at international level, I can guarantee you most people in England have never heard of the Spanish manager before this tournament.
“Top managers are in the Champions League, because that’s where they want to be. International football for me is about the players.”
Would Jurgen Klopp be tempted to join England?
It’s interesting to hear that Carragher would not be interested in Klopp joining England.
While it’s easy to see his point of view after the Three Lions tried – and failed – to win with Sven Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello, the former Liverpool boss is a different case entirely.
When Eriksson and Capello took over they were both already past their peak as managers. They were on a downward turn.
Klopp on the other hand is still right at the top of his game. His arrival would truly be a monumental appointment for England.
Having said that, we think Jurgen would turn the job down for the same reasons Carragher mentions. He has no connection to the English national team and a connection is absolutely key for him to do his best work. Even if he wasn’t on a big old break, we don’t think Klopp would be keen.
