Liverpool are still yet to make any concrete moves during the summer transfer window.
With two international tournaments running side-by-side since the end of the season, the feeling is that the Reds are waiting to kick into action.
But with both the Copa America and Euro 2024 set to end this coming weekend, Liverpool may now start to ramp up their plans.
Arne Slot has been working with his available Liverpool squad for almost a full week and should be getting an idea of what may be needed in the market.
And as Slot evaluates what the Reds may or may not do, new transfer links continue to appear.

Liverpool targeting Ferdi Kadioglu
Turkey have been one of the most entertaining sides to watch at Euro 2024 this summer. Blessed with some extremely talented young players, they made it to the quarter-finals.
Some of those within Vincenzo Montella’s squad will have needed no introduction to Liverpool supporters.
Liverpool have been linked with Kenan Yildiz throughout last season, while this summer has reportedly brought an enquiry from Liverpool for Arda Guler.
Meanwhile, reports since Turkey crashed out of the tournament on Sunday have suggested that Liverpool are keen on signing Baris Alper Yilmaz, too.

And after Yilmaz, Italian outlet Calciomercato.it now claim that Liverpool are one of the sides ‘very interested’ in signing left-back Ferdi Kadioglu.
Kadioglu played every single minute of Turkey’s campaign in Germany, often inverting into the middle of the pitch.
The 24-year-old’s performances for his country have certainly caught the attention. Calciomercato claim that Juventus are also pushing hard to sign Kadioglu.
The Fenerbahce defender reportedly has further interest from Newcastle and ‘above all’ Manchester United. Jose Mourinho’s new club are said to be looking for around £25m to let Kadioglu go.
Liverpool could be in the market for a left-back
While we’re not sure that Liverpool need Yilmaz, links to Kadioglu would make much more sense.
Although he’s been lining up as a left-back for Turkey, the Fener man is also adept at playing more in midfield. Interestingly, he’s also right-footed.
This may well actually negate him from Liverpool’s thinking as they look for a left-back this summer.
There is no guarantee that the Reds will sign a new deputy – or future replacement – for Andy Robertson, but strong links to Rayan Ait Nouri suggest that perhaps they are.
There have been reports that Liverpool could move Kostas Tsimikas on and in that scenario they may need to make a signing.
Given ITV commentator Lee Dixon said Kadioglu ‘looks an absolute star’ at Euro 2024, perhaps he could be an option.
