Liverpool are busy preparing themselves for a new era, with Arne Slot having taken over the reins at Anfield.
The Dutchman has been chosen as the manager to take the club to the next level following the departure of Jurgen Klopp.
That certainly won’t be an easy task, with Slot needing new players at Liverpool to help kickstart his tenure.
The manager is currently overseeing pre-season training, with eight players having already reported back for club duty.
Slot has overseen the training, while he has already conducted his first press conference, with Jamie Carragher saying he ‘came across really well’.

But fans will be more interested in which players Slot plans to bring to Anfield in the coming months, with the new season rapidly approaching.
According to Turkish newspaper Milliyet, one player that the Reds are interested in signing this summer is Baris Alper Yilmaz.

Virgil van Dijk praises Liverpool target
Yilmaz played the entire 90 minutes in the 2-1 defeat, with Liverpool and Netherlands captain Virgil van Dijk praising his opponent after the match.
As per Milliyet, Van Dijk said: “Baris Alper Yilmaz was running constantly. He was running elusive. It was difficult for every defender.
“He made it very hard for us. He couldn’t score a goal though. If we were to describe him in any way, he is a really important player.”
