Liverpool supporters are waiting to see exactly what kind of system Arne Slot is going to bring to the club.
Reds fans have become so used to seeing Jurgen Klopp’s favoured 4-3-3 formation over the past handful of years.
But with Slot bringing new ideas and a whole different coaching staff, it seems likely that Liverpool will have a change in approach next season.
Pushed on the matter during his first press conference, Slot has already explained his coaching philosophy since arriving at Anfield.
However, with most of his first-team squad yet to arrive back for pre-season, it may be a while before we see it fully in action.

Cody Gakpo shares his favourite position
There are some really fascinating questions for Slot to answer in his squad. Where does he play Trent Alexander-Arnold, example?
Does the new head coach want to use three midfielders or just two? Who will be the first choice partner for Virgil van Dijk?
As well as all of these things that could do with being cleared up, another major point of interest will be where Slot uses Cody Gakpo.
Gakpo has had an excellent European Championship with the Netherlands. Having scored three goals and been his country’s most effective player, Gakpo has looked great on the left of the attack.

This has differed from at Liverpool where the 25-year-old has often been used through the middle.
And speaking ahead of the Netherlands semi-final meeting with England on Wednesday night, Gakpo has admitted that he was never properly used in his favoured position by Klopp.
“I was a left winger before so that’s always been my preference,” The Mirror quote the former PSV man as saying.
“But in the last one and a half years, the coach (Jurgen Klopp) needed me to play somewhere else and that’s what I tried to do at my best.”
Will Cody Gakpo change position for Liverpool?
Slot has already addressed Gakpo’s position when speaking to the press last week. However, the Dutchman was giving little away.
In our opinion, Slot now has little choice but to use Gakpo from the left. Daniel Sturridge thinks Gakpo has looked like a different player during his stint from the wing for the Netherlands.
The only problem when he gets back to Liverpool is that there is already plenty of competition on that side.
Luis Diaz was Klopp’s preferred option and it’s easy to see why. Despite his slight lack of output, Diaz offers a big threat of his own.
The Colombian is also having a good tournament of his own in the Copa America and will be full of confidence heading back to Anfield.
If Gakpo can be decisive in Wednesday’s semi-final though, it will only strengthen his cause.
