Arne Slot should be working very hard at this moment in time in order to bring new faces to Liverpool.

The Dutchman has big shoes to fill at Anfield given the success of Jurgen Klopp, who left the club at the end of last season.

But Slot can ease his transition by bringing world-class players to Liverpool, with such players definitely needed now Champions League football will return to Anfield.

Fortunately, however, the Merseyside outfit already have plenty of hugely talented players among their ranks.

Keeping them all happy will certainly be on Slot’s agenda in his early stages, particularly if he does sign a handful of players.

Antoine Semenyo ranks Mohamed Salah above Rodrygo

One player that Liverpool would love to sign this summer is Rodrygo, with the Reds ‘in touch’ with the Real Madrid star.

But according to Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, Slot already has a better winger in his squad in the form of Mohamed Salah.

When ranking several wingers for ESPN Africa, the Cherries ace picked the Liverpool attacker over Rodrygo.

Bournemouth man Semenyo did, however, then favour Rodrygo’s Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Jr over Anfield hero Salah.

Mohamed Salah proves his worth to Liverpool yet again

Salah came under plenty of criticism for many of his Liverpool displays last season, particularly in the latter stages.

But the entire team seemingly ran out of steam in Klopp’s final moments at the club, with Salah’s fellow attackers particularly stuttering.

The Egyptian star did, however, still manage to post superb figures of 25 goals and 14 assists in all competitions.

He has simply set the bar so high over the years that fans now expect Salah to constantly reach those heights.

Rodrygo meanwhile posted tallies of 17 goals and nine assists for Real Madrid, with five goals helping the club to yet another Champions League trophy.
