Liverpool will be undergoing plenty of changes ahead of the new season, with Arne Slot set to bring a fresh look to the club.
The Anfield faithful will still be missing iconic manager Jurgen Klopp, with the German having left Merseyside a legend.
He has also left a huge gap in the dugout, but it is one that Slot will be hoping to fill successfully, and indeed as soon as possible.
There has been plenty of discussion about what the Dutchman will bring to Anfield, with Trent Alexander-Arnold among those reacting to the new manager.
And former Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge has now given his thoughts on the matter, having shone under Jurgen Klopp in red.

Daniel Sturridge makes Arne Slot prediction at Liverpool
There are, of course, more changes than one taking place at Anfield, with the likes of Thiago and Joel Matip having left after their contracts expired.

Behind the scenes meanwhile, Michael Edwards has returned to undertake a new role with Fenway Sports Group as CEO of Football, with Sturridge confident that the owners made the right decision regarding Slot.
“Now the club are in a transitional period,” Sturridge told The Times. “New manager, players coming out of contract – it’s just that kind of time.
“But the backroom team is amazing. I know the Mikes [key owner Mike Gordon and football chief executive Michael Edwards] well.
“I’m sure they’ve analysed the manager they’ve brought in and will know his style marries well with the current squad and will have their eyes on players they want to sign too.
“I don’t have any concerns Liverpool will slip away.”
Can Arne Slot hit the ground running at Anfield?
Slot will definitely be grateful for the job that Klopp did over the years, but the Dutchman will want to put his own stamp on things.

Living in the shadow of an iconic manager can be very dangerous and indeed end in disaster, as has been the case with many Manchester United managers following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
That is the exact view that Darren Bent has taken, with the former Premier League striker warning Slot that the ‘biggest mistake’ he can make is to try and change everything at Anfield.
A mixture of Klopp’s style that the current players are used to, and his own approach, could work well on Merseyside, at least in the early stages.
