Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side has had to deal with a whole host of injuries over the course of the entire season so far. And it’s not going to get any easier for Liverpool

Mohamed Salah is still on the sidelines. Meanwhile, Dominik Szoboszlai could now miss another significant chunk of the season. The Hungarian already missed almost the entire month of January.

But he recently returned to feature in two games. Getting an assist against Norwich City, and scoring against Chelsea. Before once again missing out on Liverpool’s clash against Arsenal last weekend. It seems as per the latest reports, Liverpool may have to get used to the Hungarian not being available for a while.

Dominik Szoboszlai now could miss the Carabao Cup final

According to a report from Index, who are a very reliable source in Hungary, Szoboszlai is expected to be out for up to 3-4 weeks. This means he could miss a total of 7-8 matches, and essentially the entire month of February including the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.

Considering the form in which he returned to the side against Chelsea and Norwich City this will be a huge blow for Klopp and his team. The Hungarian is a huge talent. Theres’s a reason why Harvey Elliott recently described, Szoboszlai as ‘unbelievable’ in training.

If the report is true, Szoboszlai’s absence will be a huge blow to the club’s Premier League title aspirations. Even in the game against Arsenal the Hungarian international captain was sorely missed. He provides so much energy on the pitch. And as we recently reported clocked the fastest speed among midfielders in the league this season.
