Harvey Elliott has lauded Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai’s quality in Liverpool training having joined the club this summer.
The midfield duo have established themselves as two of Liverpool’s newest superstars having arrived in the transfer window from Brighton & Hove Albion and RB Salzburg respectively.
And speaking to the press ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Europa League clash against Union Saint-Gilloise, Elliott has praised his two new midfield partners with what they’ve brought to Liverpool.

Indeed, the England youth international has seemingly learnt quite a bit already from Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, and Elliott is enjoying playing with the midfielders in training for Liverpool.
Elliott said when asked what he’s learnt from Mac Allister and Szoboszlai: “First and foremost, long shots. You see the goals that those two have scored, especially Mac Allister.
“It’s just the confidence they bring out of other players in training, you think ‘I want to try that’, and when it comes off for yourself you’re on cloud nine. These players are unbelievable to be around and to work with, there’s no better role models to look up to than these guys.”
Harvey Elliott can learn more from Liverpool teammates Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai

At 20-years-old, Elliott is one of the youngest players in the Liverpool squad despite being a part of the first-team for the past three seasons.
And in Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, the England youth international has two teammates who Elliott can learn a lot of valuable skills from going forward.
Whilst long-shots are a great trait to have in his locker, other skills such as Szoboszlai’s stamina and Mac Allister’s versatility are just as vital for Elliott in his goal to become a world-class player.
And at Liverpool, Elliott needs to be absorbing all this information like a sponge, with the youngster clearly motivated to become a superstar for the Reds.
