Jurgen Klopp shocked every single Liverpool supporter when he announced that he will be leaving the club. He has been at Liverpool for so long. He’s become synonymous with the Reds, and has completely embraced the identity and culture of the football club.
If anything, he has instilled his own culture and ethos as well. His impact has meant he has really controlled everything around the club from the first moment he arrived.
Now it’s difficult to imagine what life will be like after him. Recently, there have been rumours flying around of players being uncertain about their future. But Klopp speaking in his official press conference has revealed the media has gotten a lot wrong about the speculation, and the club’s supporters.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s game against Chelsea, as per the club’s official YouTube page, Klopp defended the club’s supporters, and criticised the media for their reaction to his departure.
“Very often the fans’ concerns are not as big as the media may think. You underestimate the IQ of our supporters,” Klopp said.
Klopp’s right. There has been so much flying around the media ever since he announced the news that he will be leaving the club. It’s difficult to keep up with it all. Everyone is in a frenzy.
However, throughout it all Liverpool fans have remained relatively calm. Most fans have embraced the change, and know there is a plan in place. And that this plan will take time, so therefore patience has to be exercised.
