Things are going really well for Liverpool right now. Even amid the sad announcement that Jurgen Klopp will be leaving the club, on the pitch everything has been perfect.
This month had the potential to be a hiccup for Liverpool. Without Mohamed Salah, and with several key players injured – the Reds could have struggled. But Klopp’s side showed no signs of slipping up. They’ve done everything they could, continuing to win games in the Premier League, qualifying to the final of the League Cup, and advancing in the FA Cup.
One of the key players behind Liverpool’s impressive form has definitely been Darwin Nunez. He was going through a bit of a rough patch before this month – but now he is back to his devastating best. His recent form in front of goal will testify to that with Nunez having five goal contributions in his last four games.

Former Chelsea defender on Darwin Nunez
Speaking on talkSPORT, former Chelsea defender and now pundit, Scott Minto raved about Darwin Nunez and his qualities.
“I don’t need to speak about him and his performance and his finishes, he does the speaking on my behalf,” Minto said.
“I’d seen the talent there and I haven’t heard an ex-pro yet giving him a lot of stick apart from being able to be more clinical and sticking the ball in the back of the net a bit better.
“He would be a nightmare to play against, he’s big, he’s strong, he can run the channels, he can be skilful, he can come out to the left and cut inside on his right. Listen, I’m really pleased he’s doing well for Liverpool.”
It’s true. Nunez is in a league of his own. There is a reason why he is regarded as one of the most prolific players in Europe’s top five leagues at the moment. He is just simply sensational, and he keeps causing problems for every defender he faces. Next up will be Minto’s former side – Chelsea.
