Mohamed Salah can never really escape the transfer rumours. The Liverpool forward is perpetually linked with a move away from the club or with speculations of a contract extension.
So far, the truth has always resided with the latter, and that’s unlikely to change in the immediate future.
Especially after Liverpool overcame the most intense barrage of interest for his services over the course of last year.
Back then, with last season not ending the way Liverpool wanted – many envisaged that it may have been time for Salah to part ways with the club.
Then, of course, there was the heavy interest in him from Saudi Arabia over last summer – with hefty money being thrown about.
However, all of that materialised to nothing and Salah has since gone onto reach new heights at Liverpool and propel the club back to where they belong.

Mohamed Salah’s agent responds to rumour
Now Salah is away at the African Cup of Nations, but away from the pitch, speculations about his departure have died down. The focus recently has been on just how significant of a loss he will be during his absence away from the club.
However, that could be about to change. It appears his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa is back, and he is back to doing what he has made his own habit of late – posting on social media to rubbish transfer rumours.
Abbas’ latest tweet was posted today, however, it’s a response to a rumour claiming that Salah wanted to leave the club from back in March.
Salah’s agent responded to that tweet with a simple four-word reply of his own: ‘You just don’t know.’
It’s a bit of a cryptic statement. But it’s interesting that Salah’s agent is posting about his client again. Perhaps it’s a possibility that there are conversations going on at present about what the future may hold.
Everyone Liverpool fan would love a new contract to be offered to Salah to extend his stay beyond 2025 – so, this is definitely one to watch.
