Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw against Arsenal last night at Anfield, with Kostas Tsimikas suffering an injury that could keep the defender out for some time.
The Greek international broke his collarbone after colliding with Jurgen Klopp on the touchline, with Joe Gomez replacing Tsimikas and impressing when going up against Bukayo Saka.
Whilst the 26-year-old defender is an obvious candidate to replace Tsimikas, Klopp could turn to another option in Liverpool’s ranks, with on-loan youngster Owen Beck a potential option.
Kostas Tsimikas’ injury could lead to ‘super talent’ Owen Beck returning

Currently out on loan at Scottish Premiership side Dundee FC, the 21-year-old left-back has already made quite a name for himself north of the border.
Manager Tony Docherty has already sung Beck’s praises in public, with the defender catching the eye in Scotland since making the move away from Anfield this summer on loan.
Indeed, Beck is also already in Jurgen Klopp’s good books, with the Liverpool manager hailing the Wales youth international as a ‘super talent’.
Liverpool should take a risk on defensive academy graduate

The Reds already have one generational defender come through their academy in recent years in Trent Alexander-Arnold, who at 25 is now on course to become a legend at Liverpool.
And whilst Beck might not become as good as the England international, the 21-year-old left-back has the potential to become a top Premier League player.
With a chance to now bring Beck back into the first-team squad, Klopp should use Tsimikas’ injury as a reason to bring the Wesh youngster into the fold.
Moreover, should Beck prove to be a hit, it could save Liverpool millions in the transfer market, given that Andy Robertson will need replacing one day.
