PSG have reportedly struck an agreement to sign Brazilian wonderkids Gabriel Moscardo and Lucas Beraldo, who were both eyed by Liverpool.

The French giants have seemingly won the race for the South American duo, who heading into the January transfer window were both reportedly wanted by Liverpool.

Beraldo, a young defender from Sao Paulo, and Moscardo, a midfielder from Corinthians, are both regarded as two of the most exciting talents coming out of Brazil this year.

And now, according to journalist Santi Aouna, the pair will be swapping Brazil for Paris, with Liverpool set to miss out on Moscardo and Beraldo in January.

With the Reds in the market for a defender and a midfielder, the duo heading to PSG is a major blow for Liverpool’s transfer plans heading into next month.

However, given how young the two players are, Liverpool could be playing it safe in January and are looking to sign a defender and midfielder who have a bit more experience than Moscardo and Beraldo.

Given how young Moscardo and Berlado are, there’s no telling how much the duo will develop in the coming years with PSG.

Yet if the pair hit the ground running, Liverpool regret allowing the French giants to win the race for the youngsters next month.

Although Liverpool could bring in two exciting signings of their own, there’s nothing quite like a Brazilian wonderkid hitting the biggest heights in Europe, let alone two.

And that could be the case for Moscardo and Beraldo at PSG, who seem to be putting a lot of faith in the duo in the years to come.
