Reported Liverpool transfer target Kenan Yildiz could push to leave Juventus in January.
Yildiz has broken through at Juve this season, and is claimed to have caught the eye of Liverpool in the process.
And according to journalist Florian Plettenberg on X, there is a chance that the 18-year-old may push to leave the Italian giants as soon as next month.
“News Kenan Yildiz: He‘s completely frustrated with his situation at Juventus!” reports the German journalist. “0 minutes in Serie A after his matches with Turkey national team.
“Talks will follow in the next days as the 18 y/o top talent is really considering to leave Juve in winter!
“Loan? Permanent deal? Understand that everything is possible. Many teams inquired about him. Also from Germany and England.”
Yildiz pushing for Juve exit
Although this could potentially signal some good news for Liverpool, it also may raise a red flag.
While they may be interested in Yildiz, they may also worry slightly over the attitude of a player pushing to leave his club at such a young age.
The youngster does look a real talent. He is indeed already an international – and a goal-scoring one at that – for Turkey. But that doesn’t guarantee him minutes at Juventus.
The Old Lady are no longer the side they were of years gone by. Nevertheless, they’re going well in Serie A this, sitting top of the table, and are still a massive club.

Yildiz may feel that he deserves some minutes on the back of his potential and displays for Turkey. But how many 18-year-old’s are starting regularly for the top teams around Europe?
Of course, we don’t know the ins-and-outs of the situation, so perhaps we’re being unfair on the youngster.
However, if we were Liverpool, we’d be very careful before committing the reported £34m asking price on Yildiz. It’s highly unlikely that the former Bayern Munich prospect would get regular game-time for the Reds, and seems like he may end up causing a stink on the back of that.
There will no doubt be several teams interested in snapping Yildiz up if he does indeed push to leave Turin. For our money though, we’d be surprised if Liverpool were in and amongst the race.
