Juventus are reportedly warming to the idea of selling Kenan Yildiz in the January transfer window, with Liverpool interested in the teenager.

The Turkish international is regarded by many as one of the most exciting prospects in all of Europe, the attacking midfielder has broken into Juventus’ first-team having signed from Bayern Munich last year.

With Liverpool already reportedly interested in signing Yildiz, it’s clear that there is real excitement over the 18-year-old, who could be set for a move to the Premier League already.

And according to CalcioMercato, Juventus are now open to selling Yildiz, with the youngster valued by the Serie A giants at €40m (£34m).

Likened to Cristiano Ronaldo by Turkish coach Soykan Baskar, news of Juventus being willing to offload Yildiz in January could be music to Liverpool’s ears heading into 2024.

However, given how much Juventus now want for Yildiz, Liverpool should be considerate in their approach for the teenager, especially with other positions in need of strengthening in January.

Yildiz already looks like a player who can go straight to the top having broken into the senior squad with Juventus as well as Turkey’s international side.

And for Liverpool, the teenager could be a serious prospect for the future, which could justify a move in January even if Juventus want as much as £34m for the attacking midfielder.

Indeed, Liverpool have been experts in recent years in signing youngsters that have a clear pathway into Jurgen Klopp’s plans later down the line.

And Yildiz could be another example of such a move, with the Turkish youngster a prospect that might be too good to pass up on for the Reds heading into 2024.
