Trent Alexander-Arnold is now reportedly spending time with different teammates in Liverpool’s canteen during lunchtime at training.
Having been appointed vice-captain this summer, the England international has stepped up massively into a leadership role with Liverpool this season, alongside the likes of Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson.
And according to the Athletic, Alexander-Arnold is now making an effort to sit down with different players in the squad to strike up a good connection with everybody in Liverpool’s team.

As per the report, Alexander-Arnold is already good friends with Dominik Szoboszlai, who this season has become the new revelation at Liverpool having signed from RB Leipzig in the transfer window.
Indeed, despite being one of the younger players in the squad, Alexander-Arnold is one of the most experienced names in the Liverpool team given how young the defender was when he brokethrough.
And establishing himself as a leader and making sure he is a social butterfly with everyone at the club is an encouraging step in Alexander-Arnold’s personal development.

Having come through the academy and established himself as one of the best players in the world and a generational talent in the right-back position, it’s crazy to think how young Alexander-Arnold still is.
At 25, the defender is yet to even scratch the surface of his peak potential having performed at a world-class level for the pass six years under Jurgen Klopp.
And based on this latest update, the fullback is firmly on his to becoming Liverpool’s next captain once Virgil van Dijk’s time is up to pass on the armband.
Alexander-Arnold is already a Liverpool legend and is someone who will be remembered at the club for generations, and becoming captain would feel like a natural progression for the defender.
