Transfer deadline day is upon us and Jurgen Klopp could still be busy as Liverpool look to bring in some last-minute signings alongside some potential outgoings.

It’s been a huge window for Liverpool. Since the inspired mega-cheap acquisition of Alexis Mac Allister, Klopp has also managed to pick up Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo to completely transform their midfield for the 23/24 season.

With a plethora of incoming in the midfield department, it was only going to be the case that we’d say goodbye to some of the names that have echoed around Anfield over the years. Club captain Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and James Milner all departed. End of an era.

Now it’s deadline day – so could there be a few more deals in the works? We’ve got everything you need to know right here at Rousing The Kop.

The revamp at Liverpool is more than underway – but best believe it isn’t done yet.

The Reds are still in the market for a midfielder, with a few rumours regarding multiple different players circulating.

Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch is looking for a move away from Germany, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Liverpool will seek to acquire his signature before the deadline.

This won’t be without competition from other Premier League sides – with Manchester United particularly keen on the Dutchman.

He seems a more plausible option to another player on their radar – Cheick Doucoure of Crystal Palace. It’s been reported that Liverpool have been in contact, but they worry it’ll be a little too much to pry him away from London.

Another midfielder, who’s looked destined all summer for the red half of Manchester is Sofyan Amrabat.

The Moroccan is really pushing for a move away from Fiorentina but hasn’t obtained a new club yet. He’s also wanted by Juventus – but Liverpool aren’t going to back down without a fight.

PSV’s Ibrahim Sangare is also another in an extensive list of names, who could also be keen on a move to Merseyside.

Finally in the centre of the park, two brief links from Premier League rivals. Manchester City have reportedly offered Kalvin Phillips and loan, whereas Albert Sambi Lokonga’s agents have offered the Reds the chance to capture the CDM.

Elsewhere from a defensive midfielder is pretty stale, although Joao Felix was flirted with if a certain Liverpool forward was to leave.

We’ll start with the big one, who no one really wants to see go, it’s Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian has been heavily linked to a move to the Saudi Pro League, as the world’s fastest-growing league looks to acquire yet another superstar.

Al-Ittihad are the club looking to prise him away and are also reported to be not just in for Salah. According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Ibrahim Konate is the latest target for the Middle Eastern giants, who are keen to reunite the French defender and the Egyptian king with the recently departed Fabinho.

Another defender briefly linked with a move to a Premier League rival is Joe Gomez. It’s thought that the Englishman wants more game time, which has led to West Ham weighing up a move after their pursuit of Harry Maguire stopped dead.

Away from the first-team squad, Swansea City are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool youngster Luke Chambers on loan – which would be a good deadline-day move for his progression.

Along with Chambers, Liverpool are looking to find a club to take Tyler Morton on loan, once again to help with his development – as he looks a real prospect.

It’s set to be a busy day… keep checking back with Rousing The Kop as we’ll be delivering you all the action as it comes.
