Napoli striker and reported Liverpool target Victor Osimhen would be keen to join Bayern Munich in the summer.
That’s according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, who has shared news of the Germans’ interest in the 24-year-old on Twitter.
“News #Osimhen: The 24 y/o top striker would definitely join Bayern in summer!” Plettenberg said.

“Confirmed again and today. Bayern bosses like him a lot.
“His management and the player are aware of it.
“More talks could follow in the next weeks. It’s all about the price – and Tuchel.”
Gazzetta dello Sport and The Mirror have previously reported that Liverpool have explored the idea of bringing the Nigeria international to Anfield.
Sky Sports claim the Reds have been tracking the attacker since 2019 – back when he was at Lille.
Liverpool target Osimhen open to joining Bayern
Despite the fact the player recently claimed it was his dream to one day play in the Premier League, he now seems set on the Bundesliga.
However, this decision won’t really affect Liverpool, as the need to sign players in other positions has taken priority at Anfield.
The vast majority of these reports linking the Napoli star came over the summer and ahead of the January window, when the Reds were looking to sign forwards.

Since then, Jurgen Klopp has welcomed Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo to his ranks, make the need for a striker far less pressing.
Instead, the Merseyside outfit need to focus on landing midfielders and defenders, having struggled in both areas this season.
After this has been addressed, Liverpool won’t have £87m to spend on Osimhen – not that it would matter now, as he’s likely to join Bayern.
