Pundit Gary Neville has suggested Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold needs to be aggressive more often after his performance against Arsenal today.
Starting at right-back but drifting into the midfield when the Reds had possession of the ball, the 24-year-old struggled in the middle of the park.
However, a face-to-face confrontation with Granit Xhaka saw a spark ignite within the Scouser, and within the Anfield crowd as well.
“Trent Alexander-Arnold has to be careful as he is fired up,” said Neville, on Sky Sports.
“It’s the most aggressive I’ve seen him in years.
“Maybe he should get kicked a little more!”

After a poor start in Liverpool’s midfield during the first 45, Alexander-Arnold really picked up the pace in the second-half.
Tearing down the right flank, the full-back perfectly nudged the ball between Oleksandr Zinchenko’s legs before playing a beautifully weighted cross to Roberto Firmino, who levelled the scoring.
Evidently, when the Scouser is on form, he is absolutely exceptional.
Whether that is down to confidence or just differences in his concentration, we don’t entirely know.
But when he is playing at his best, he is crucial to Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI.
After getting into the game in the second-half, let’s hope Alexander-Arnold can maintain this form for the remainder of the season, as he may be able to help push for European football.
