Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has hilariously slammed his full-back partner, Trent Alexander-Arnold, for the way he was at his wedding.
Taking to the latest episode of the ‘We Are Liverpool’ podcast, the Scotsman joked about the Reds players who made the trip to Portugal for the Scotsman’s bid day.
“I didn’t think Millie was the worst dressed out of them,” Robertson said. “Hendo looked a million dollars.
“I thought Trent’s trousers were too baggy, there was too much gathering at the bottom.

“He was a disgrace! He flew from America the night before, so he got into Portugal at 12 o’clock at night and he was jet-lagged the whole day. He was an absolute disgrace, he looked tired all day. It was his first-ever wedding, so maybe he’ll learn from that!
“But I thought Millie looked well, to be fair to him!”

The one thing fans love about the current Liverpool squad, which has been nurtured by Jurgen Klopp, is their affinity for team spirit.
All of the players seem really good friends with one another, and that is often evident on the pitch.
Even Adam Lallana turned up to Robertson’s wedding, demonstrating these bonds don’t cease to exist when a player leaves the club.

When looking at Alexander-Arnold’s stats, it’s easy to forget he is just 24 years old.
To date, he has amassed 252 appearances for the Reds – including an incredible 50 matches in the Champions League.
The Scouser has become known as one of the most talented full-backs in world football. Yet, he still has the capability to play for Liverpool for another ten years. Technically, he hasn’t yet reached his prime.
As Robertson jokes, Alexander-Arnold still has a lot to learn, but he is well on his way to earning the captaincy later down the line.
