Liverpool player hasn’t left Jude Bellingham’s side since England arrived in Qatar – journalist

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and transfer target Jude Bellingham have been inseparable in the England World Cup camp.

That’s according to journalist Dominic King, who shared a snap of the two players training together on Twitter.

“Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham getting ready for training; wherever one is, the other hasn’t been far away since England arrived in Doha,” wrote King.

Liverpool are reportedly leading the race to sign Bellingham in next summer’s transfer window. With so many suitors in for the 19-year-old, little things like joining a close friend at a club could make all the difference. Stick with him, Trent!

Agent Trent deployed for duty

There had been plenty of discussion surrounding Alexander-Arnold’s inclusion in the England squad prior to last week’s announcement.

But, quite rightly, most of that talk has centred around his abilities on the pitch. One perhaps overlooked reason for Liverpool fans to celebrate their player’s inclusion for England can be seen right here.

Yes, Bellingham and Jordan Henderson appear to have become close over recent national team meet-ups. But the two players are of different generations.

Bellingham certainly admires the Liverpool captain from a professional point of view. Relating on a personal level might be more difficult, though.

With plenty of younger players at rival clubs in the squad, Liverpool could have been falling behind on that front with the 19-year-old. Not anymore, though.

Alexander-Arnold is still a little older than Bellingham, five years to be exact. Jude is an old head, though. With both players as driven and competitive as can be, it’s easy to see them bonding.

If their bromance can continue, maybe that can just tip the balance when Jude is deciding on his next club. Keep on at him, agent Trent!
