Reported Liverpool transfer target Youssoufa Moukoko will be in the Germany World Cup squad, aged just seventeen.
That’s according to Sport1, who claim that Moukoko is in-line to win his first ever cap for the national team.
In fact, it’s claimed that the teenager, who is reportedly high on Liverpool’s list of transfer priorities, will play a key role for his country.
As a result of injury to both Timo Werner and Lukas Nmecha, Moukoko could be handed extra resposnibility.
Hansi Flick will announce his final squad at 11am this morning. Should, as expected, Moukoko be included, he’ll become Germany’s youngest ever player in a World Cup squad.

Moukoko attracting interest from Liverpool
Moukoko will certainly be a player for Liverpool fans to keep an eye on in Qatar.
The Borussia Dortmund forward would be perfect for Jurgen Klopp. With a contract expiring at the end of the season, he could be on the market for a knockdown fee in January.
There appears to still be hope that Moukoko will stay on at Dortmund. But should an agreement fail to materialise, they’ll surely have to look for a winter sale.
If the youngster can impress at the World Cup, his list of suitors will multiply. It might be worth Liverpool trying to get in there before that happens.

Liverpool short of representation in Qatar
With Liverpool having less representation than usual at this winter’s tournament, fans may have more fun watching potential transfer targets.
There was good news on Wednesday night, as Ibrahima Konate got the call-up for France.
But with Roberto Firmino missing out on the Brazil squad and Diogo Jota injured, Liverpool players will be thin on the ground in Qatar.
As a result, the likes of Moukoko may steal the attention of Reds supporters over the next six weeks.
