Liverpool are now keen on signing Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko, and a potential deal could be made easier by the player’s current agent situation.
That’s what’s reported by SportsBILD, with the youngster’s 18th birthday rapidly approaching.
The U21 Germany international is only under contract with the Bundesliga club until the end of the season, so a decision needs to be made regarding his long-term future.
Having spent seven years at the club, Moukoko is expected to remain with BVB for the foreseeable future.

However, this proposition has been thrown in the air by the 17-year-old’s agent situation.
Although he is currently signed to Wasserman, major agencies are trying to secure the youngster’s signature. Both the Unique Sports Group and Mino Raiola’s agency are hoping to use their connections in England to lure him towards their companies.
With a contract ready to sign with Dortmund, Moukoko’s parents accused his agent of greed – and a number of teams have since become alerted to his situation.
Consequently, Liverpool are said to have ‘set their sights’ on the striker, ahead of his contract expiry next summer.
Liverpool want to sign Moukoko
At just 17-years-old, Moukoko already has a plethora of records to his name.
The German became the youngest ever player to feature in the Bundesliga almost two years ago, with former teammate Erling Haaland hailing the forward as ‘the biggest talent in the world’.
Just three weeks later, he also became the youngest ever player to feature in the Champions League – adding to his collection of incredible records.
In the Bundesliga this season, Moukoko has bagged himself six goals and four assists in Dortmund’s opening 13 games.

Therefore, there is no wonder as to why Liverpool want to secure his services, with his contract expiry rapidly approaching at the end of the season.
Having previously claimed his dream strike partner would be Tottenham star Harry Kane, the 17-year-old could be convinced into making the move to England.
With the ongoing situation regarding a new agent, the Reds will be fully alert as to the youngster’s movements, with a potential swoop in mind.
