Jude Bellingham set even more Champions League records on Tuesday evening. The Liverpool target is playing amazing stuff.
Jude Bellingham caught the eye last week with a stunning display away at Sevilla. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder captained his side, created the opener and then scored himself.
Unsurprisingly, that all earned him Man of the Match.
It also broke some records. Bellingham became the youngest captain to score in a Champions League side, as well as the youngest English player to captain a side. And in a similar record, the youngest to captain a German side.
Well, he was at it again tonight. Bellingham wasn’t captain this time around but he started at home in the return tie with Sevilla. And after the Spaniards went ahead, it was the 19-year-old who found a first-half equaliser.
Bellingham’s goal makes him the highest-scoring English teenager in a Champions League group. He’s also the first teenager outright to score in four consecutive Champions League games.

What a player. Bellingham is doing extraordinary things in Europe this season, growing his reputation from a talented youngster to one of the most decisive midfielders around.
Lothar Matthaus recently discussed that with FourFourTwo. He says Bellingham is becoming more ‘dangerous’ going froward, on top of his excellent defensive work.
He’s also a player Liverpool reportedly want. Fabrizio Romano recently talked about that, saying the Reds are in the mix among the top clubs in Europe.
The more records he breaks, though, the more Dortmund will want for Bellingham in 2023. This isn’t a player going cheap, in other words, and Liverpool must break the bank to get him.
But we think he’s worth that. Bellingham is the perfect signing for Liverpool right now – let’s hope they can still make it happen.
