Report: What Nunez and Carvalho were spotted doing during Liverpool's latest training session today

Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho could both be seen enjoying themselves during Liverpool’s latest training session.

That’s according to the Liverpool Echo, who claim that both Nunez and Carvalho look to have adjusted ‘seamlessly.’

The pair were reportedly ‘full of laughs and jokes’ during today’s session as they continue to bed in.

Nunez could reportedly be seen sharing training drills with Roberto Firmino. Meanwhile, Carvalho has a familiar partner in fellow former Fulham youngster Harvey Elliott. The two are said to have continued to form a ‘close-knit’ relationship throughout the sessions.

New signings looking right at home

After what looked like a little bit of a throwing in at the deep end in Asia, Nunez appears to have come out of the other side.

The four goals he scored against RB Leipzig last week really look to have settled him in. In every picture you see of the 23-year-old, he seems to be beaming from ear-to-ear.

At this rate, he’ll be rivalling Luis Diaz as the happiest trainer that Jurgen Klopp ever saw.

Granted, it looks as though he’s mainly sticking to the Spanish and Portuguese speaking group for now, but that’s understandable. First of all, he needs to feel at home within the group, then he can start to become more familiar with everyone.

For Carvalho, he’s in the lucky position of having his foot in both camps. The 19-year-old is fluent in Portuguese and English, and looks to have already become close to a variety of different squad members.

This is what the training camp in Austria is all about. Living, working and training together at close-quarters, you can really get a sense of the group you’re joining.

The early signs are very encouraging from both Nunez and Carvalho. There will be some challenges ahead when they return to Merseyside. Finding a home, bedding into the local surroundings and everything else that comes with a big move.

But now they’ve gotten to know their teammates, it should make those sorts of things a whole lot easier.
