Trent Alexander-Arnold has a game in mind for his Liverpool return, according to reports. The Souser has a hamstring problem.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will be out for a few weeks, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed on Friday. He injured his hamstring against Arsenal and has a problem that rules him out of England’s upcoming fixtures, as well as Liverpool’s next few games.
It is, of course, a massive blow. Alexander-Arnold has been in incredible form of late, already setting a new season-best for assists and he’s far from done for the campaign.
His passing was so good against Arsenal, in fact, that it left Gary Lineker wondering where the game is going. Alexander-Arnold just has that effect on people, it seems.
Liverpool must make do without their most creative player for the next little while, though. It’ll be tough – of course – but Klopp believes the side can cope.
They can only cope for so long, though, and it’s apparently true that Alexander-Arnold already has a game in mind for his return.
Trent Alexander-Arnold targets Liverpool return
The Times reports that Alexander-Arnold wants to return on April 10th to face Manchester City. It is unquestionably the biggest game of the Premier League season, with only one point separating the two teams at the top of the table.

Liverpool need Alexander-Arnold back for that game and we imagine there will be absolutely zero risks taken before then. He simply must be able to play a key role on a ground where the Reds struggle.
And so this injury is now about getting through the next few fixtures before that massive clash. Fortunately, there aren’t actually too many – thanks to the international break, there.
If Liverpool can cope and get Alexander-Arnold back fort he Etihad, they might not even feel this one too much. Fingers crossed, then.
