Ibrahima Konate was seen choking on ticker-tape during Liverpool’s Carabao Cup winning celebrations. Beside him, Andy Robertson clearly thought it was hilarious.
As seen via Football Daily on Twitter, the big centre-back tries to remove the confetti from his mouth while his teammate roars with laughter.

Thanks for helping out, Robbo!
Luckily, Konate appeared to see the funny side too, and continued celebrating his first trophy for the club.
The first of many
Konate was brought on to help The Reds deal with Romelu Lukaku during extra-time.
The 22-year-old was then forced to step up to take Liverpool’s tenth penalty of a dramatic penalty shootout.
It was a hearts-in-mouths moment as Kepa Arrizabalaga managed to get a hand on the Frenchman’s spot-kick. But the shot had just enough power to squirm into the net.
The penalty capped a good performance from Konate, who looked to enjoy winning his first trophy as a Liverpool player.

He has now had more than half a season of getting to grips with what Jurgen Klopp wants from him.
Learning from watching Virgil Van Dijk and Joel Matip without the pressure of playing every week will have been great for Konate’s development.
But the French under-21 international hasn’t been signed just to play second fiddle. Some of his performances have been exceptional.
After keeping Inter Milan at bay in the San Siro earlier this month, Jamie Carragher called him ‘excellent’ on Twitter.
After claiming a trophy with The Reds at the first attempt, hopefully Konate can help Liverpool to more this season and beyond.
Learning from the master
Although Konate was fantastic and Joel Matip should have had the winning goal, it was Van Dijk who came away with the Man of the Match trophy on Sunday.
The 30-year-old is right back at the top of his game.

Liverpool found it difficult to deal with the roaming Kai Havertz at times on Sunday. But by and large, Van Dijk stood firm against an array of attacking talent.
The Reds are a much better team with Virgil in it. Whether he plays alongside Matip, Konate, or Joe Gomez, the Dutchman’s performances never fail to amaze.
