Diogo Jota is rightly receiving praise from all corners. The 25-year-old was brilliant for Liverpool last night. His two goals deservedly booked Liverpool a trip to Wembley for the Carabao Cup final in February.
Ruben Neves was one of those to react to his former teammate’s special night.

Talksport have claimed that Liverpool are planning to launch a move for the 24-year-old midfielder in the summer. Wolves have reportedly been looking for £40m to prise him away from Molineux (Telegraph).
He clearly still has a soft spot for Jota after their time in the Midlands together. Reacting to Jota’s Instagram post after the game last night, Neves simply wrote “Diogoal again” followed by a shrugging emoji and a coupe of clapping hands.
Other responses came from Liverpool third-choice ‘keeper Adrian, who also bestowed the “Diogoal” moniker on Jota. Elsewhere, Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Actherberg could only use fire emoji’s to sum up his feelings on the little Portuguese.
Wycombe Wanderers striker “The Beast” Adebayo Akinfenwa described Jota’s performance as “Sensational”.

Neves an option for Liverpool
It isn’t the first time Neves has been full of praise for Liverpool’s two-goal hero. He previously called him “unbelievable” during their time playing together.
Liverpool could be looking to add a midfielder to their ranks. Neves would represent a smart option in this regard. He has bags of Premier League experience and 26 caps for Portugal.

At 24-years-old he is in the kind of age group that Liverpool like to buy in and still has years to reach his obvious potential.
£40m would represent a cheaper option than the likes of Jude Bellingham.
Neves clearly has an eye on goings-on at Anfield, even if it is just to keep up with how his former teammate is doing. Maybe it’s worth sending Diogo down to Molineux to convince him that he too can thrive on Merseyside.
