Trent Alexander-Arnold & Jordan Henderson say Mohamed Salah is best in the world

Fans are in agreement with Trent Alexander-Arnold & Jordan Henderson when it comes to Mohamed Salah being the best in the world. The Egyptian tore Manchester United to pieces.

Manchester United 0 Liverpool 5. We’ll remember this one forever. The Reds tore their rivals to pieces from front to back, running riot up top.

But one player stands out. Mohamed Salah, yet again, was above the rest as he scored a hat-trick and assisted the first.

The Egyptian showed off world-class finishing, elite movement and everything else you could possibly want from a forward. Just unbelievably good.

Salah became the first Liverpool player to score in 10 consecutive games with his goals. He also became the all-time top-scoring African in Premier League history.

He’s also got 15 goals in 12 games, while also creating chances for teammates every week. What more can you possibly say?

So there’s a sense right now that Salah is in fact the world’s best player. It’s certainly something that’s difficult to argue against (even if Karim Benzema does have a case).

Is Salah the best in the world, then? Certain teammates are willing to give him their vote.

Is Salah the best in the world?

Trent Alexander-Arnold isn’t listening to alternatives, it seems, as he posted on Twitter after the game.

Jordan Henderson made his thoughts clear on the subject, too. “For me, yes,” he said when asked is Salah was the world’s best by Premier League Productions.

And fans, of course, believe Salah is the absolute best in the world right now, too.

In fact, even fans from other clubs believe the Egyptian is above the rest of the competition.

We’ve seen some sensational players at Liverpool over the years. There was a sense that Luis Suarez was playing at unfathomable heights back in 2013, for instance.

But the absolute best in the world? We’re not sure we’ve ever seen the likes at Liverpool. Salah is surely just that right now, though.
