Harvey Elliott has signed a new long-term contract at Liverpool.
Liverpoolfc.com have confirmed that the youngster put pen to paper on a new deal on Friday.
While it does not state exactly how long the deal is, it will keep him at Anfield for the next few years at least.
Elliott joined the club from Fulham in 2017 after becoming the Premier League’s youngest-ever player at Craven Cottage.
He spent the majority of his first season with the u23’s, before joining Blackburn on loan last season.
The 18-year-old has made a total of nine first-team appearances at Liverpool, however, and will undoubtedly add to that in the near future.
Elliott’s loan spell in the Championship was a huge success. He scored seven goals and assisted 11 more, coming near the top of all the division’s creativity stats charts.
Elliott contract a huge move for club and player

Harvey Elliott looks very likely to become a world-class footballer.
It has been obvious since he was incredibly young. You don’t become the Premier League’s youngest player and sign for Liverpool at 16 if you do not have insane talent.
Last season only added to the hype. He was one of the Championship’s best players, despite his incredibly young age.
Elliott was putting up numbers at 17-years-old that experienced professionals could only dream of.
Every sign points to him becoming a huge success at Liverpool, including his obvious love for the club.
While we know he can do it in the Championship, we will soon see if he can do it at Premier League level.
We are certain that he will do so in the coming years, but if pre-season goes to plan for him he will probably get the chance to prove it in 2021/22.
Elliott has everything it takes to become a legend of Anfield. This new contract is just the next step for him.
