Liverpool have amassed arguably the strongest squad on earth – they are world champions after all. Such is the strength of the squad, we feel it is worth a king’s ransom. Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of the most valuable players in the world.
Trent has rapidly become the best full back in the world.
Since bursting onto the scene a couple of seasons ago he has been improving seemingly constantly.
He has been smashing records for fun: last season he recorded more assists in a Premier League season than any other defender in history.
Against West Ham last night he matched his own record of 12 assists in a season.
At just 21-years-old the Scouser has at least a decade to run in his career, his age is just one reason that Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of the most valuable players in the world.
The most critical reason for his soaring value is that he has no intention of leaving the club.
Whilst Kylian Mbappe is of course worth hundreds of millions of pounds, he is certain to leave Paris in the next couple of seasons. PSG will have to accept an offer at some point or risk losing him on a free transfer.
Erling Haaland is another contender given he is even younger than our playmaker, however, 90Min are just one of a number of outlets reporting that he has a €60m release clause in his contract at Borussia Dortmund.
Given that Trent has no release clause and no desire to leave the club, there is surely no reasonable amount of money that could see the Scouser leave Anfield.
Without a club showing absolutely no concern for FFP, we can’t see Trent leaving the club in the future.
