Liverpool FC have not lost a single Premier League game since they played Manchester City on the 3rd of January. In fact, Liverpool have only lost two Premier League matches since the 17th of March 2018. Phenomenal. Such is the Reds’ invincibility, Jack Grealish of Aston Villa has admitted that Liverpool are unbeatable.
The wild card Villa captain was absent when the Reds scored two late goals to break Brummy hearts in early November. Jürgen Klopp’s side snatched a late win at Villa Park thanks to Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane.
Speaking to the Aston Villa club site, Grealish said: “Of course, every team in the league is capable of getting beaten – well, apart from Liverpool.”
What RTK has to say
Although this is likely a tongue in cheek comment, Jack Grealish admitting that Liverpool look unbeatable speaks volumes of how the rest of the league approach playing the Reds at the minute.
Jürgen Klopp has built a side that are simply impossible to defeat. No matter the circumstances, we have always found a way to come out on top this season – well, apart from against Manchester United (and Martin Atkinson).
The German has instilled a never say die attitude into his side, it is this attitude that has seen us snatch late winners against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace this season.
With the Reds leaving it late to score and never conceding defeat, other sides start the game dejected – they don’t think they can beat us, so they don’t. They panic when pressed, they never settle when they’re leading. We are mentality giants and we are frightening the rest of the league.
