Liverpool should look to loan Rhian Brewster out at the earliest opportunity.

The 19-year-old is highly regarded on Merseyside and is one of the hottest prospects in football.

Many had hoped he would enjoy a breakout season under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

However, playing time has been scarce so far and his best chance at first team football is most likely away from the club.

The England U21 international has shone in the Reds youth teams this season. Last time out he led Liverpool U23’s to victory claiming at goal and assist in a 2-1 win against Sunderland. Unfortunately playing at that level is not going to help the development of Brewster.

During his rare chances at first team football in the Carabao Cup the 19-year-old has failed to live up to expectations. Whilst it is clear the young forward is talented its also clear he is not yet ready for any major role in the Liverpool first team.

The Reds must not halt Brewster’s progression and need to engineer a loan move for him during the winter transfer window.

At the right club we will likely see the London-born striker come on leaps and bounds.

After half a season of regular, competitive and high-level football the Brewster would most likely return to Anfield a better play, ready to play a bigger role in during the 2020-21 season.

Current Liverpool loanee’s Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic are shining at their respective clubs. Both will only grow further as the season progresses and simply must be among the first team next year.

Rhian Brewster must now follow in their footsteps by going out on loan and improving his game before returning to Merseyside will get him ready for a bigger role in the Liverpool squad.
